Common Errors: Watch Out! Students often make mistakes here. Wrong: Thicker paper is always better because it is stronger and more professional. Correct: Thickness must suit the function: tissue paper is perfect for delicate gift wrap; tracing paper needs translucency; cartridge paper needs weight and texture. Over-specifying GSM wastes material and increases cost.
