Teaching Script (35 mins):

Common Errors: Watch Out! Students often make mistakes with this topic. Wrong: Auto mode will give you the best exposure every time. Correct: Auto mode makes AVERAGE exposure decisions that may not suit your creative intention. Manual control lets you CHOOSE: shallow or deep depth of field? Frozen or blurred motion? Clean or grainy aesthetic? Understanding the exposure triangle gives you creative control auto mode cannot provide.
