Common Errors: Watch Out! Students often make mistakes with this topic. Wrong: 3D printing can replace all other manufacturing methods. Correct: 3D printing is excellent for prototyping and complex geometries, but has limitations: slow for mass production, limited material range, and weaker structural properties than moulded or machined parts. Each manufacturing method has strengths — choose the RIGHT process for the task.
